Mechanical Mind was founded by Sam Neal in 2015. Sam grew up at a local saw mill and has been running equipment since he was 5 years old. When he started his excavation business it all came naturally to him. In 2019 Mechanical Mind had the opportunity to partner with another local excavation company SLW Construction, also known as Wolf Construction. Lavern Wolf is a well known excavation contractor who has been in the excavation business for over 50 years. With Sam’s skills and Lavern’s knowledge they make the most complicated jobs look easy.
At Mechanical Mind we take the extra step to make sure our job sites are clean, organized, and finished the correct way the first time. We take great pride in taking active steps towards being a low-impact development (LID) company. We believe that LID is the future for the construction industry and we want to make sure we are taking all the steps we can to build and preserve our communities at the same time.
